Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice and Takedown Procedures

Overview

Artvio respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated copyright agent.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on our Service infringes your copyright, please submit a notification containing the following information:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail so we can locate it (e.g., URL)
Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email address)
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

Your physical or electronic signature
Identification of the material that was removed and its previous location
A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed due to mistake or misidentification
Your name, address, and telephone number
A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district
A statement that you will accept service of process from the original complainant

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also limit access to the Service and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Important Notice

Please note that under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. If you are unsure whether the material you are reporting is in fact infringing, you may wish to contact an attorney before filing a notification.
